David Splittgerber joined Senior Matters as co-owner and Chief Operating Officer in 2006.  Since joining Senior Matters, Mr. Splittgerber has assisted in establishing In Home Matters, the caregiver / companion section of the company, and in expanding Senior Matters to include the service of legal guardianship for those in need. 

Mr. Splittgerber earned his Master of Accountancy from the University of South Carolina.  He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Registered Legal Guardian (RG) with the National Guardianship Foundation.   He is a member of the South Carolina Association for Certified Public Accountants and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Mr. Splittgerber has more than 17 years of experience in the senior living and accounting industries.  Prior to joining Senior Matters, he was vice president of finance for Lutheran Homes of South Carolina, which operates five continuing care retirement communities and a hospice agency in South Carolina.  He has served on finance and stewardship committees with Redeemer Lutheran Church and the Seven Oaks Presbyterian Pre-School Board.
